Relative Truths

Ok, so normally Mondays are very blah to me.  I mean, I am still tired from church on Sunday, and it is a little harder to get going on Monday than it is any other day of the week.  However, today has been energizing in a lot of ways.  Like I said last week, Connection Church is moving!  While we are very excited about the move, there is a lot that has to be done for it.  So, today has been working on signs, planning, etc getting ready for the move. Therefore, no time for blahness!

Another reason I have been able to get going better today came from my quiet time this morning.  I was reading through I Timothy, and hearing Paul give encouragement to Timothy and the church about the work they were doing.  It made me think of the blessing I have in serving at Connection Church.  I thought of the great people I have met and the great people that I get to serve with.  It’s awesome.  So, today I had a sense of energy because I get to do “work” today that is all about building the kingdom of God through Connection.

I don’t know what your day is like today.  I don’t know if you have battled the Monday blah or not.  I just hope and pray that God gives you a little bit of inspiring and lets you know that He loves you and what you do matters.

Ok, so if you weren’t able to be at Connection Church on Sunday, but want to know what we announced, here it is: we are moving!  We have loved being at the community center at George Pierce Park.  It has been our home since our launch March 1.  We have seen people make decisions and experience God in that place.  However, for us to become the church I know God desires us to be, a move is necessary.

So, beginning Sunday, September 6, we will worship at North Gwinnett Middle School.  This is a brand new school in the Suwanee community.  Since we are a brand new church in the Suwanee community, it seemed like a great fit!  Here is a link to a map and direction to North Gwinnett Middle School.  If you need more help, here is a video with directions:

Ok, so I know your jaw dropped when your blog reader let you know I had a new post.  Yes, it has been awhile.  Like I said a while back, I don’t want to bore people with pointless posts.  I don’t have kids to put up on here, and I am not the most clever writer like Morgan is, but I do what I can.

Anyway, I am so pumped about church this Sunday.  This Sunday, we will be making an announcement about Connection Church that I think will have big effects in the community of Suwanee, GA and beyond.  I don’t want to give it away, but it is something we have been working on for quite a while, and it is going to enable us to do some great ministry!

So, pray for Connection Church this weekend.  Also, stop by and worship.  The truth is, we would love to have you!
