Ok, so I finally decided to blog. I have been toying with the idea for awhile now. I struggled because I didn't think anyone would care to read a post from an associate pastor. I figured I would post when I planted a church, but who cares until then. Well, I had my first meeting with our communication team since that ministry became part of evangelism, and they all wanted me to start blogging. Throughout the course of the meeting we discussed new ways to get the message out in the public. We had a great time talking about how the gospel message is pretty amazing and this church (as all churches) needs to take advantage of 21st century modes of communication. I came to the truth that nobody will ever care what I write and preach, but the message I write and preach about is what is important. I can talk about that while I am an associate, a church planter, or whatever God has me doing. So, I decided to blog, and talk about the ways that the gospel message of Christ is revealed in truth in my life. I invite you to participate. Got any truths to share? Has Christ manifested to you? This blog will contain many things. I will put thoughts I have and truths I realize. I will also put funny things like top ten lists (Tony Morgan has shown me how funny those can be) and progress on any cool things we are doing here for the kingdom.
